If your dog likes to be brushed, it’s perfect! If your dog hates vacuum cleaners, it doesn’t matter. Your dog will give up all fear of vacuums with this thing. The only attachment that did not get a five paw review was the nail grinder but 6 out of 7 attachments made Walli feel like he was at a celebrity spa. Walli is a beagle, not generally a breed needing much more coat grooming passed a good brushing but for this review he agreed to have style change to his coat. He now sports the untouched, kind and loyal beagle face with a fierce, white pompom tipped lions tail for summer. None of which I had to coerce with treats for him to lay calmly and relaxed through. I also used it on our cat who is my nemesis and I still have my eyeballs to write this review. All in all a great purchase. It was purchased with hopes of reducing beagle glitter on furniture, bedding, and clothing. I plan to use it at least once a week for it is very easy to operate in the interchangeable attachments are easy to swap. Emptying and cleaning out of the collection canister and filter are easy enough. I feel with a back up set of filters. I will be able to get long-term use out of this vacuum.

This sure would have saved me a lot of grief had I got one of these a lot sooner. This thing is amazing. The nail file doesn't work well at all but that's not why I bought it so it's fine. The shaver works really good. I love actually being able to groom my dog and not ending up with so much fur on top of me that it goes up my nose and in my mouth. My dog tolerates it better than when I use a regular brush. It has a different speeds, which is very nice. The brush can lock in place so you don't have to keep pressing on the button. It's pretty quiet and so doesn't stress out the dogs.

Before trying this product, grooming my dog was a chore. It was messy, tiring, and uncomfortable for both of us. After trying this product once, it’s a whole different game.
My favorite part is how my dog responded to it. My nervous German Shepherd was so calm and relaxed that he started falling asleep while I groomed him. It’s quiet enough that he wasn’t nervous, and I could still hear the television.
My second favorite part was that there was no mess. The fur collected in the vacuum, and emptying the trap is simple.
Assembly is easy, and I am more than satisfied.

I bought this item out of desperation, with low expectations that it would work on my very curly standard poodle's coat. I was thrilled to find that it does work quite well! I used to end up covered in tiny hairs from head to toe after grooming him, but I estimate this vacuum clipper reduces that by about 90%. I am also able to use the plastic guards- something I was never able to do with standard clippers. The vacuum pulling the hair into the clipper allows the guard to glide through his curly hair. With the standard clippers I used prior his hair would tangle around the guards, rendering them useless.

It has also made grooming a more pleasant experience for my dog, who has dreaded being groomed since birth. How unfortunate for him that he was born a poodle! He used to run and hide after being groomed but since I started using this product he is more relaxed about the process.

I was a little skeptical at first, but after using this groomer I am upset that I didn't buy it sooner! I have three dogs and this is used for routine brushing/de-shedding. I also have a cocker spaniel husky mix and it makes trimming her a breeze and leave little to no mess. I was able to trim her completely including her nails super fast!One of my dogs does not like loud noises and this didn't bother her at all. I love all the different attachments and all worked exactly as they should. I would definitely recommend.
